Amberward is free to download and includes a 14-day free trial with every feature. After that, a single purchase (no subscription) lets you keep adding and editing products. Your documents and warranties always stay accessible. The price is shown in the app, in your currency, before you buy. If you bought it before, Restore purchases in the purchase screen brings it back on a new iPhone.

Tap +, scan the receipt (or choose a photo), check the suggested date and amount, enter the product name, adjust the warranty length if it is not 24 months, and tap Save. The first time, Amberward explains why it would like to send reminders before iOS asks for permission.

They are only suggestions: tap the field and correct it. Text recognition understands receipts in English, Italian, French, German and Spanish (dates such as 25/10/2026, 10/25/2026 or 25 Oct 2026; amounts such as 549,90 or 549.90; a line starting with “TOTAL”, “TOTALE”, “SUMME” or “IMPORTE”). If a date can be read two ways, for example 03/04/2026, the app asks you which one is right. Sharp, flat, well-lit photos work best. Receipts in other languages may give no suggestion at all, which is fine: fill the fields in by hand.

The camera scanner is not available on every device. Use Choose from photo library instead. If the camera was refused, turn it on in iOS Settings › Amberward.

• 30 days before the warranty ends, at 9:00.
• If the warranty already ends within 30 days when you save it: the next morning at 9:00.
• No reminder if it has already ended or ends today.
• Editing a warranty updates its reminder; deleting it cancels the reminder.

• Check iOS Settings › Notifications › Amberward and make sure notifications are allowed.
• Check Focus / Do Not Disturb and Notification Summary.
• After turning notifications back on, open Amberward once: it re-checks and schedules the reminders again.
• A reminder is never repeated after it has been delivered, and none is scheduled for warranties that have already ended.

No. The data lives only on the iPhone where you entered it.

If you have iPhone backups turned on (iCloud or a computer), iOS may include Amberward's data, and it can move to a new iPhone when you set it up from a backup or transfer. We cannot guarantee recovery in every circumstance, so keep the originals of your most important receipts. After restoring, open Amberward once so it recreates the reminders.

To delete one warranty, open it and tap the bin icon. To delete everything, delete the app: iOS removes all its data from the device (older backups may keep copies until they are replaced).
