In short

Amberward keeps everything on your iPhone. We do not collect, receive, sell or share any of your data. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and nothing you enter leaves your iPhone.

Who we are

Amberward is developed by Paolo Giulio Gazzano (Nathco). You can contact us at support@nathco.app.

What the app stores

The information you enter: product name, store, purchase date, warranty length, amount, notes, and your documents: receipts, invoices or order confirmations (photos taken with the in-app scanner or chosen from your library, or PDF and image files you import from Files). It is kept only in the app's private storage on your iPhone. We have no access to it.

Camera and photos

Camera: used only when you tap “Scan document”, through Apple's document scanner.

Photos: Amberward receives only the photo you choose, through the iOS photo picker; it cannot see the rest of your library.

Files: Amberward receives only the PDF or image you choose, through the system document picker.

Text recognition: the receipt text is read on your iPhone with Apple's Vision framework. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. There is no push server and no device token, and nothing leaves your device. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings.

Free trial and purchase

Amberward offers a 14-day free trial and a one-time purchase, both handled by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). Apple processes the payment and tells the app only whether the trial or the purchase is active on your Apple ID. We receive no payment details, no name and no e-mail address, and there are no accounts.

Network and third parties

Amberward sends your data to no one and contains no third-party code: no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or other SDKs. The only network connection is with Apple's App Store, used for the free trial and the purchase: it is handled by Apple under Apple's terms, and we receive no payment details and no personal data. The only other things that can leave the app are links you choose to tap (this page, the support e-mail), which open in Safari or Mail.

Backups and device transfers

iOS may include the app's data in backups of your iPhone (iCloud or a computer) if you have them turned on, and may move it to a new iPhone when you set it up from a backup or transfer. Those backups are managed by Apple under your settings and Apple's terms; we have no access to them, and we cannot guarantee that your data can be recovered in every circumstance.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays until you delete a warranty in the app (which removes the record and its receipt photo) or delete the app (which removes all its data from the device). Existing backups may keep older copies until they are replaced.

Children

Amberward is not directed at children and we do not collect data from anyone.

Your rights

Because we do not hold your data, there is nothing on our side to access, correct or delete. For any question about privacy, write to support@nathco.app.

This website

This website is static: it uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. It is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for material changes, mention it in the app's release notes.
